I love this calendar! the art work/illustrations are wonderful--I have it hanging in my foyer for all to see as they pass by!
I am not sure this is the right forum but I am going for it... I am the youngest of 5 girls. Sister #4 has bought each of us these amazing artistic calendars for years........and years. We would receive them and call each other and talk about our favorite month...We would read the statements in awe.. They have brought us so much joy, as well as a connection to each other. Then one year we lost our parents with in months of each other, which seems not that long ago, but changed a lot of things for us. At that time Sister #4 became not so well herself, and unable to carry on the tradition of the calendars, so sister #5 wanted to keep it going... #5 has saved each and every one and put them right back in the amazing container they came in, they decorate the walls of her computer room. Last year when I ordered I received a wonderful note from Jan which was so unexpected but so kind of her to take the time to write a note to a stranger, but the note was written as if she was talking to an old friend. Then to find that she is ill and maybe the last calendar, brought tears to my eyes. For those of you out there that are wondering if you should purchase the calendar this year, go for it..... Maybe you will make your own traditions.. If you read between my silly lines, it takes wonderful folks like Jan and Peter to show us the way to come together.... We will continue to make ours traditions... I feel it will always include Jan and Peters amazing talent for us to be so privileged to enjoy.... God Bless and Happy Holidays !!
Love your calendar - I've been using it for many years! I love the photos, poetry and whimsy and delight as each new month arrives so I can see what that new month's calendar page will contain. Great stuff!
Started out as a Christmas present each year from a dear friend. After her untimely death I knew I still had to have my calendar. It is constantly in view everyday and a wonderful memory of her. This calendar is the perfect size to fit on my side by side refrigerator. Interesting to read each monthly tidbit. Easy to view. Expensive but great quality paper and interesting. I could not survive the year without this calendar.
